Tax Measure Feasibility
Creating revenue measures that are ultimately approved by the necessary percentage of voters is difficult, especially in California. Successful measures require insightful research and sound, strategic advice. A tax measure feasibility survey must accurately gauge voter support for a potential measure under different conditions and identify factors that underlie and shape opinion – information that is critical to developing public education and outreach strategies, and helping agencies position a measure for voter approval. True North has designed and conducted more than 350 such studies and has the highest verifiable success rate in California since 2008 (94%), with a 100% success rate in 2016 (45 wins/45 measures on the ballot). To date, True North has helped its clients raise over $29 billion in voter-approved bonds, taxes, and assessments.
